OnePlus 6 is one of best flagships for the very low price. It gives you a lot and saves a lot when compared to other major flagships of the market. OnePlus has a nice habit of introducing very low-priced phones but packed with faster specs and a camera that can capture amazing shots. The latest smartphone in the OnePlus family has potential to compete beautifully.
The OnePlus 6 design is trendy, the company has focused on what is trendy even if people do not like it. It has a notch so many people might not like but it has to cover up what others are doing. This phone has an attractive finishing with glass design. Talking about design and build, I would like to say it is not rather changed than OnePlus 5t but it has managed to feature a gimmick known as a notch. Comfortable to hold and use, a lightweight phone with immersive viewing looks. The indirect curving on the back and flat front, the edge-to-edge design is good giving a more screen-to-body ratio. It clearly gives you a premium feel. You do not get that old very metal-based body and the use of glass can attract. You have the option to pick the phone in three stunning colors: mirror glossy black for ceramic feelings, mid-night black for normal temperature and shiny silky white is there to meet wishes of white lovers. It does stand where Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and iPhone X are ranking.
What does it offer on its front panel? Just like before, OnePlus has used an OLED panel for a solid and sharp color quality. It has 19:9 ratio display, a 6.28-inches display that features this aspect ratio for those who like to have very larger viewing panels. This trick covers around 84-percent screen-to-body ratio. By the way, res has been on the keen interest of the company as far I observed. It has 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution that gives not very changing experience. But overall, this is a good screen and it has an energy-saving function as well.
What about performance? This is very fast, it has an Octa-Core processor combined with 4 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold and 4 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver. OnePlus has wished to make customers happy with what they like and avoid what they not like. And yes, this time the company has focused on AI terms too. You should not feel angry with irritating bloatware and third class activities. More, I do like what company has performed to impress users. Again, you have the option to pick the phone with 8GB RAM. Normally, the phone is offered in three configurations, 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM, 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. This configuration should help you a lot when working on high-end apps. If you do like multitasking, this should enable you to work smoothly too.
This OnePlus 6 comes with a 3300mAh battery and it is capable to live more than a day on an average use. This capacity I like, it comes with fast charging and no wireless charging which I do not like. However, I do not think everyone makes use of wireless charging. The dash charging should easily make you happy, it can charge the half phone in half hour around.
The company has not changed policies here too. You can similar camera setup which can capture some inspirational shots. The rear side is equipped with a dual 16MP + 20MP camera sensors and the camera app is loaded with tons of options to manipulate your experience. And it has optical image stabilization. But one thing you might notice to slow down your experience, the slow-motion recording. The Galaxy S9 can record HD videos at 960 frames per second and this is very impressive. But the OnePlus 6 is capable to record at 480 frames only. However, I do not think that this is the very major point you can notice while buying a great flagship year. If you see iPhones, people are buying them and they are not capable to offer 960fps recording.
The company claims that portrait mode on the 16MP sensor will be available after the release. It will use AI functions too so you can have the best experience with this phone. When you see other functions, you can get yourself very happy. You can capture very bright shots in the low light environment. It should feel you better than its predecessor. And more, yes, daytime shots are very great. OnePlus is expert in making what can capture beautiful images and record high-quality videos. Interesting, you can record 4K videos at 60 frames and I am impressed with this. This is a beautiful smartphone with a powerful camera setup capable to make many people happy, people with ideas similar to me.
