Oppo Launches RealMe Brand to Compete with Xiaomi

In the recent tech news, it is heard that the well-known Chinese mobile manufacturer known as Oppo has launched a sub-brand by the name of “RealMe”. This brand will be selling competitive mobile phones which are equipped with innovative features and appealing design. These phones will be effortlessly available through online retailers across the globe.

This sub-brand of Oppo mobile will be focusing on the online sales and innovative looking design smartphones. Apparently, the company will be selling some of the original Oppo mobile phones which are rebranded to the name “RealMe” to increase the online repute of this mobile manufacturer among consumers. Currently, this sub-brand by Oppo has made its entry in India and has launched appealing and economical mobile phones for its consumers. Recently, Huawei also did the same by introducing its Honor series, which is selling mobile phones through online retailers and also on its own websites.

Oppo and Xiaomi both Chinese brands are quite popular in the Asian countries such as India and Pakistan, which is the reason why both these brands smartphones face a tough competition in the price and budget segment. RealMe made an attempt to put down the sale of Xiaomi Redmi 5A by calling its design as “generic” and made its unique style appealing.  The company might keep the name of this phone “unique” but in the picture below the name of the phone is “RealMe”. This phone is actually the rebranded version of Oppo A3 which was announced by the company last month.

The specifications and details of this phone are not revealed yet by the company for Realme. Though, there are expectations that it will be comprising of similar features and specs like the Oppo A3. Like for instance, it will have 4GB RAM, Mediatek Helio P60 chipset, and a bezel-less notch display.
