We all are excited to see the new cars of different top notch companies to hit the roads of Pakistan in 2018. After the auto policy 2016-21, there will be many new automakers who will be launching new vehicles in Pakistan. The automakers will not only be launching passenger sedans but also luxurious SUVs and pickups in the automotive industry of Pakistan. We have already reported all the possible vehicles of different automakers that are going to be launched in our previous blogs. Though, in this blog, I have compiled all the upcoming cars in one place for the convenience of our readers.
One of Pakistan’ s known motor-bike manufacturer known as United Autos will be introducing an 800cc hatchback automobile by the name of United Bravo in the local automotive industry of Pakistan.
This hatchback is a renamed of Dahe Motor DH350, which will be equipped with the 800cc 3-cylinder unit. The company will not only be introducing a hatchback automobile by also a 1000cc commercial vehicle in the country by the name of PUNJNAD. For the production of both these vehicles, the company had already built a manufacturing plant in Lahore. The expected price of the hatchback is expected to be between 6-7 lakhs.
Kia Motors entered the Pakistan automotive industry with a local collaboration with Yunus Brothers Group. The vehicles of KIA will be launched in Pakistan under the umbrella of Kia-Lucky Motors. According to the recent reports, the cars that will be coming include Rio, Picanto, Grand Carnival and Sportage.
The Kia Grand Carnival will be an 11-seater family van, which is powered with a 3.3-liter engine mated to a 6-speed auto transmission. It is also reported that this will be the first car to be launched by Kia-Lucky Motors in Pakistan.
Renault a well-known automaker is also going to launch its first vehicle in Pakistan by the name of Renault Duster. This car will be equipped with a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine having the capability to produce 105hp with a torque of 142Nm.
The engine will be mated with 5-speed manual transmission and also an optional CVT automatic as well. This well-known French automaker is also setting up its manufacturing plant in Faisalabad.
After the recent merger of Hyundai with Nishat they will be introducing new vehicles for the consumers of Pakistan.
They will be launching a commercial vehicle by the name of Hyundai H100, which will be powered with 2.6 liter 4-cylinder SOHC 8-valve diesel engine that can produce 79hp and a torque of 166.7 Nm. The engine is mated with the 5-speed manual transmission.
